Emergent Tech — Bringing gold into the digital age
Emergent is a fintech company working on creating a gold-backed stable coin and a verified supply chain for trusted gold. 10Clouds helped Emergent with extending its blockchain and mobile teams and worked on core elements of its wallet application.
10Clouds maintained a team of 6-9 people consisting of Python, ReactNative, ReactJS developers as well as QA and DevOps. Our team augmented existing development teams and collaborated closely with Product Owners and UX/UI designers on the client-side. Apart from development work, we were tasked with the organization of remote work and inter-team communication to ensure a seamless delivery of results.

TrustStamp - Cutting edge identity protection
TrustStamp is a computer vision and biometric startup that provides identity and trust as a Service to answer two fundamental questions: “Who are you?” and “Do I trust you?”. 10Clouds has been providing a staff augmentation service for TrustStamp for over 5 years, including Python developers specializing in Machine Learning and data processing.
10C engineers were highly involved in TrustStamp’s R&D projects. They worked with strong collaboration or under the supervision of the client's main Data Scientist. Still, developers had much independence in their day-to-day work, including both implementation and research.
We were responsible for:
- Biometric Authentication System
- Machine Learning Algorithms
- Design
- Front-end Development

Crescent - Finance app with high-yield interest
Crescent is a finance app making high-yield interest accessible to all.
Crescent came to 10Clouds for support with building the frontend of its app, complete with UX and product design.
The initial product was intended to be a crypto-investing platform for beginners, but it later pivoted to become a high yield savings tool powered by crypto. The platform offers users 100x higher interest rates compared to traditional savings accounts with up to 6% APY, no minimums, and no hidden fees. Users can increase their interest by activating boosts and supporting the causes they care about with an inbuilt Social Impact feature.
The company’s decision to pivot was mainly due to the regulatory environment changing in the US, but Crescent is still planning to launch the investment part of its product as it scales.

Forbes - The Forbes Dashboard
Marketing managers spend too much time gathering analytic data of branded content campaigns published on their websites. Scouting for data from various sources, putting it together, and passing it to clients is often a difficult and needlessly complicated process. Forbes and its clients needed an all-in-one tool for managing and monitoring their campaigns.
10Clouds created a design for the Forbes Dashboard - an intuitive web tool that gathers, displays, and exports multi-source analytic data for Forbes campaigns. The dashboard can be used by both Forbes’ staff and clients. It’s giving them direct access to data, thus saving both sides a lot of time. This solution wouldn’t work without spot-on design and data visualization - that’s what we delivered.
We were responsible for:
- Heuristic Audit,
- UX Design,
- UI Design.

Omise - Trade cryptocurrency with ease
Omise is a payment gateway for Thailand, Japan and Singapore. The company developed a new innovative exchange platform based on their OmiseGo protocol. The platform needed a fresh, user-friendly design with a smooth running experience on any device.
10Clouds’ goal was to create a brand new, reliable digital asset exchange and to implement important functionalities - from onboarding users to building a complex dashboard.
We were responsible for:
- UX design: comprehensive research, user journeys, wireframes and clickable prototypes
- UI design: keeping simplicity in mind, we created a UI that aligns with users’ needs
- Development: Our development team worked on a front-end solution in React.

Aleph Zero - New generation blockchain
Aleph Zero’s value proposition has to do with ensuring a new generation of an all-in-one public blockchain. In addition to solving the trilemma challenges of speed, security, and decentralization, the project also enables an innovative approach to privacy by combining ZK-Proofs with Secure Multiparty Computation, and doing so in a purely software-based fashion.
Aleph Zero needed to work on its infrastructure for the upcoming Mainnet launch and they didn’t have the time to wait a few months before hiring in-house team members. They needed somebody who could build an AWS infrastructure for their devnets, testnet and Mainnet.

Datacapt - Clinical data management system
Datacapt is a Cloud-based Clinical data management system providing easy-to-use features for your clinical research. It enables users to efficiently build and deploy trials, save time and increase the quality of their outputs.
According to extensive market research and numerous interviews with clinical research experts, the most significant problem is that the available clinical trial management platforms are outdated and do not meet user needs. The goal, therefore, was to create an innovative and unique app that would revolutionize the entire clinical research industry.
We were responsible for:
- UX Design,
- Product Design,
- Development.

Wishu - Talent Marketplace for the next generation
Wishu is a marketplace to offer, sell and buy a variety of goods and services from each other. The application is designed for students of universities in the UK. It encourages sharing economy and allows students to use their talents and skills to make money, instead of getting a part-time job.
10Clouds created UX and UI design, implemented backend service and iOS application. Backend service was written in Python - Django with use of MANGOPAY as a secure payment provider, KYC service and ledger.
iOS application was written in native iOS SDK using Swift language. Application collaborated with Wishu backend, Google Places service, Google Maps service, and MANGOPAY API to make mobile first user experience.

Swile - Payment cards for employees
Swile is a company providing workers with payment cards that can be used for lunch, birthday money pots, and a whole range of other work-related activities which require payment.
10Clouds used Swile’s research to create the 7 personas, with diverse ages, racial backgrounds, and interests, which would also fit with Swile’s new brand. Our team consisted of an illustrator and two 3D modelers.

ActionFunder - Come together, make a change
ActionFunder is a platform that connects community groups and businesses with the aim of driving positive change. Businesses are already giving £2.7bn to charities in England and Wales each year but small and micro charities receive only 2% of this amount with most going to bigger charity brands. ActionFunder is tapping into a growing desire among businesses of all sizes to do more to support smaller charities as well as local community initiatives whose role in tackling the climate crisis and growing inequality has been spotlighted during the Covid pandemic.
We were responsible for:
- MVP,
- community platform,
- web development.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Highfive Finance, an education startup focused on financial education. We’re building a mobile application that will make it easy for young professionals to educate themselves on financial topics.
What challenge were you trying to address with 10Clouds?
We needed a company that could help us create a clickable prototype to use for our own product development roadmap.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started the engagement with a kickoff meeting, wherein we set expectations and requirements and discussed what we wanted the deliverables to look like. 10Clouds explained the different types of clickable prototypes, and we decided to opt for a mid-fidelity prototype based on our budget.
We also specified that we wanted to focus more on the design aspects and the look and feel of the product rather than on user testing or extensive wireframing, as we have already done some work on that ourselves. 10Cloud worked professionally with us on this and created a deliverable that was exactly what we wished for and even more.
10Clouds then worked on developing the prototype of a mobile application. They took the wireframe designs, which we sketched ourselves on Nero, and further elevated them. From there, their team completed the wireframe and transformed it into a visually-appealing clickable prototype using Figma.
What is the team composition?
We primarily worked with a success manager and two designers from 10Clouds.
How did you come to work with 10Clouds?
I met 10Clouds at a conference that I attended about a year ago. They had a presentation, which I thought looked very structured and professional. After doing some research and looking at their previous work and their designers on Dribble and other platforms, I approached them for an estimate and talked to them about our project. It became very clear that they would be the right company to work with, so we decided to go with them for this project.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $4,000 on this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on this project from April 2022–May 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We don’t have any success metrics, but I can definitely say that all of the deliverables turned out exactly as we expected. They were also quick to implement requests and feedback from us. Overall, their work exceeded our expectations, and we're extremely happy with the results.
How did 10Clouds perform from a project management standpoint?
10Clouds performed well in terms of project management. All of the requirements and deadlines were met. In terms of their communication, we never felt alone because they always responded quickly and professionally to our concerns.
We primarily communicated through Slack and email, but we also had weekly meetings through Google Hangouts. We also used Mural to conduct our workshops and collaboratively worked in Nero.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I was extremely happy with the people that worked with us. They were very friendly, communicative, flexible, and accommodating of all our requests. They always made us feel well taken care of, and it really felt like they were a part of our team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t have any complaints.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure to be as responsive as they are and to provide them with regular feedback.

Web Design for B2B Multi-Sport Company
"Whenever I needed something, they gave it to me as soon as possible."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the product owner at Benefit Systems SA, a multisport company. We’re a B2B business that sells sports cards to companies to give to their employees. These cards give them access to go to the gym.
What challenge were you trying to address with 10Clouds?
We wanted to redesign our website because users couldn’t find the information that we wanted them to find. We wanted a site that allows users to register and find all the important information that they need.
What was the scope of their involvement?
10Clouds redesigned our website from scratch and helped us with the UI/UX research and user testing. We had an existing brand book but it was quite old, so they designed a lot of new stuff to make our website look more modern with the right flow. They also created a lot of icons and even prepared a new brand book, which included what colors we should use in the future for our website. We had another company handle the development portion.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a UI/UX design person, an accountant, and another person who helped us with research.
How did you come to work with 10Clouds?
We interviewed several different agencies, but they were the most prepared because they came up with a brief and plan. They were also able to accurately tell us what we could improve on, ask the right questions, and answer all our questions and requests.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $50,000-$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them on this project from July 2019–November 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our registrations grew and a lot of people bought our product. All of our KPIs improved, too. Overall, I was really satisfied with their designs and the results of the project.
How did 10Clouds perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management style was great. Due to the pandemic, we had very dark times because all of the gyms closed and our project stopped. But after getting the green light from the board to continue with our work, they were ready. I never had a hard time working with them — they were super flexible and always delivered on time. Plus, whenever I needed something, they gave it to me as soon as possible. We used Jira as our project management tool.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We had daily communication and contact, and we treated each other like a partner. When I wasn’t sure about something, they would give me a valid explanation of why they thought differently. I really liked working with them; they were always super nice.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything that they need to improve on. I highly recommend working with them because they work with the same level of energy from beginning to end.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust them — they know what they’re doing. Also, make sure to always ask questions if you need an extra explanation.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I work for Unit21 as a product manager. I obtain requirements from either customer or business internal stakeholders with a view to developing features for our product.
For what projects/services did your company hire 10Clouds?
We’d realized that customer acquisition costs for one of our product lines exceeded our original budget and represented a high ongoing cost for us. We decided to create a self service version of our product so that customers could sign up on their own and run checks against their users quickly and easily. We required a product designer to help realize this vision.
How did you select this vendor?
I have worked with 10clouds since 2018. I am a huge fan of the team.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
- Ideation - Identify risks to current product (High customer acquisition cost)
- Requirement gathering - Scope out initial MVP for self service identity verifications
- Deliver low fidelity wireframes
- Coordinate with designer to ensure timely delivery of figma designs (ready for dev)
- Discuss with entire engineering team (atleast relevant stakeholders)
- Put feature in development
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
1. Paweł Poterała worked with us as a product designer, and did a fantastic job. Asked insightful questions, was timely to let us know when he’s stuck, timely to deliver and responded well to being under stringent deadlines that were not under his control.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The UI/UX we developed represented a huge improvement on how customers are signed up into Unit21 today. The new process designed by Paweł will require less than 20 clicks to get up and running.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very effective. I didn’t feel any problems with the timezone. Paweł was a huge part of that, as was Mateusz.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their people were friendly, professional, and committed to delivering a great project.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Kamil(the original resource) was not up to the mark due to a lack of commitment on his end. 10Clouds resolved the issues we had with him as quickly as they could. Paweł was a superior resource and an adequate replacement.

Custom Software Development for an Internet Company
"There’s nothing negative to put on them."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I was the CEO of an entertainment and media technology company.
What challenge were you trying to address with 10Clouds?
There were several, but I would reference video personalization and adaptation, video analysis, enrichment, and linking, multimedia semantics and SaaS and data as a service issues.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They’re building a web browser application that enables us to get more economic yield out of our video assets by adapting the video to different contexts. The video is personalized by enabling people to find video more efficiently, as well as find content inside of the video.
The software is built with React on the frontend and Django and Python on the backend. In terms of design, they moved through a market introduction plan and market fit evaluation, user stories, and wireframes.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with, at our peak, around 25–30 people. They were the usual group of individuals working on the development of a new software product: front- and backend developers, middleware pipeline developers, database resources, and more.
How did you come to work with 10Clouds?
I’ve known the founders of the organization for more than 10 years.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $1 million dollars on this most recent project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since December 2010, but this most recent product began around October 2019. We’ve worked together in fits and starts over the years.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve achieved a MVP of our complex web platform. There’s more work to do to turn it into a minimum marketable product, but we’re delighted with the 10Clouds work. They do great work.
How did 10Clouds perform from a project management standpoint?
They work with Jira and Confluence, along with other various tools, including a specific frontend design tool I can’t recall — perhaps InVision.
We communicate through Slack and they are very responsive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The depth and breadth of their technical talent stands out. They possess a full suite of capabilities, from ethnography and user stories and UX to backend development and everything in between.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re continuously improving their service and delivery capabilities. I’ve seen that evolution over our 10-year relationship. I don’t have any specific deficiencies that aren’t attributable to us, rather than them. There’s nothing negative to put on them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
It’s helpful to have technical counterparts on your side. If they assign a UX person from their team, you should have someone interfacing with them. If they have a development lead, then you should have a development lead. Pair the internal project leads with the external project leads. Think of them like an extension of your team to expand your scope of capability. This is what we do and it works well.

Web Dev & Branding for Crypto Space Company
“They had the phenomenal design talent and due diligence that we needed for our projects.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of growth and marketing for a fintech company in the crypto space.
What challenge were you trying to address with 10Clouds?
Our goal was to develop a visual brand identity and a website footprint that was reflective of the direction that our company was headed in as a young, expressive, Gen Z-focused finance company. We wanted to translate that brand into an exciting landing page or website experience that encouraged users to sign up for our waitlist.
What was the scope of their involvement?
On the branding side, 10Clouds helped us put together an extensive document that outlined the look and feel and the general direction that we were headed in. We tried to be as expansive on those thoughts as possible to give them as much information to work off of. 10Clouds then created the brand identity from scratch.
On the web development side, we had some very specific requests in terms of the apps on the site. We discussed the stack that we were going to build on, the tools that we needed to be implemented, and the story we wanted to tell. From there, 10Clouds took our vision and page outlines, created high fidelity wireframes, and ultimately, developed pages, including a landing page, for our site.
The site was already launched, but we still use their services for updates on pages and executions that our team in-house can't handle. But this project, as it was originally defined in terms of scope, was already completed.
What is the team composition?
We worked with four people on the branding and four other people on the website development.
How did you come to work with 10Clouds?
Our founder came across 10Clouds through a mutual connection. He grew a relationship with 10Clouds’ account manager during the development of the early stage of our app, and we selected them because we were already familiar with their work and they were familiar with our product.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on this project from March-December 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
For this project, the main metric that we were looking to drive was waitlist subscriptions for our consumer-facing app. Within about two months of launching the site and starting our marketing efforts, we had generated approximately 22,500 waitlist signups and 120,000 web sessions.
Additionally, our venture partners and early Beta users responded positively to the look and feel of our site and brand. They commented on how interesting they looked and how they made us stand out from our competition.
How did 10Clouds perform from a project management standpoint?
10Clouds performed really well in terms of project management. Our project manager, in particular, was very instrumental in pushing the project forward and keeping us on track.
We used Jira, Linear, and Shortcut for project management, Slack for communication, and Notion for project documentation.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We were most impressed with the level of excellence of 10Clouds’s designers. They had the phenomenal design talent and due diligence that we needed for our projects.
Moreover, they demonstrated the ability to be deployed across several different disciplines. Having a team that we can rely on and that we know is going to deliver on the kind of quality that we've come to know and expect from them, regardless of the domain in which they're working, was really quite impressive.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
In order to get the most out of 10Clouds’ time, it's important to be diligent in terms of your scheduling and in making sure that you understand what it is that you're trying to accomplish in each of the sessions with their team.
You have to be prepared to give concise feedback and make decisions quickly. Knowing the time difference and setting proper expectations are imperative to move things along efficiently.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and CTO of Quesmed, a company that focuses on medical school education. Our goal is to make preparing to become a doctor much easier and less monotonous.
What challenge were you trying to address with 10Clouds?
We had a previous software development partner, but we were unhappy with their team. They didn’t meet deadlines, and the project took much longer than we expected, negatively impacting our business and revenue.
We were looking for someone that could deliver our vision within a timeframe. We needed help developing our product for the web and mobile devices.
What was the scope of their involvement?
10Clouds has helped us create a brand new extension of our platform. Initially, we’ve only focused on a web-based solution, but as we’ve become more confident with their team, we ended up building a new product together.
They’ve developed a social education app that allows a group of students on a voice channel to go through clinical scenarios and undergo tests. We aim to make it easier for medical students to work together and have the opportunity to train and practice with students from around the world.
10Clouds is using React to develop our platform, and they’re helping us with some machine learning (ML) tasks using Python. They’ve also built our mobile app for Android and iOS.
What is the team composition?
We work with two project managers, two React Native developers, two React web developers, one ML engineer, and a senior ML engineer.
How did you come to work with 10Clouds?
We were looking for developers in Poland because we had a good experience with Polish vendors regarding cost and quality. We came across 10Clouds from their Dribble account, and we were drawn by their expertise in education platforms and their intuitive mobile app designs.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about £125,000 (approximately $171,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve started working together in June 2021, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
10Clouds’ work has helped us increase our sales by about 550%. I’m 80% satisfied with their work. Overall, they’ve done an excellent job — they’re very engaged and quick to act.
How did 10Clouds perform from a project management standpoint?
10Clouds is very good at project management. We have two project managers working with us, and they’re absolutely on point. They lead meetings and ensure tasks are documented within Jira — they even chase us if we’re busy and their work needs feedback. We use Slack to communicate and Google Meet for weekly meetings.
Initially, we’ve only had one developer, so their work hasn’t been as rapid or thorough as we wanted. We’ve highlighted our concern, and they’ve changed their developer and made their road plan clearer through frequent meetings. They’ve recognized that minor issue, corrected it, and we’ve been delighted with their work since then.
What did you find most impressive about them?
10Clouds’ ability to tap into anything we need at a moment’s notice is impressive — they’re proactive at helping us grow. In addition, they’re very flexible and responsive about issues, including cash flow concerns.
There’s a camaraderie between our teams — we feel that 10Clouds is invested in our product as much as we are.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a clear idea of what you want, and have multiple different versions of that. Be open with your goals and budget, and they’ll help you identify what they can work on considering your constraints.

Custom Software Dev For Civic & Social Organization
"They blend technical expertise with account management and flexibility."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the COO of Semble, a B-Corp Limited company. We help businesses connect with grassroots community groups to make change happen in society. We’re based in the UK, and our operations are mostly in the UK, at the moment.
We run an agency model whereby we have project managers who work with businesses to help them achieve their aims with regards to corporate social responsibility and marketing. Our resources craft storytelling around the work that our client businesses do in their local communities.
We build and maintain a network of community groups that we support for free with resources, training, and events. We’re a bridge between businesses and community groups.
What challenge were you trying to address with 10Clouds?
A company will come to us with a pot of money that they want to give away to the local community, and we create a plan for them. We charge the business quite a lot for the service, and that means that money that could have gone to local communities goes to us. This means that fewer businesses are willing to work with us.
From our perspective, our business problem is that we can only service a small number of the available business opportunities at any given time.
Our solution was to digitize a lot of our processes to expand our bandwidth and reduce the fees for customers to work with us. We’ve created an online marketplace that enables businesses to connect with grassroots community projects and distribute funding in a fast, efficient way. We take a commission on the money that they distribute. 10 Clouds has been our chosen development partner from the beginning.
What was the scope of their involvement?
10Clouds came on board to do the technical build of the website after we’d done a lot of specification and design work. We handled the project design and management while they contributed UX/UI support and advice, as well as front- and backend development, DevOps, QA, and project management.
The website enables users — both funders and community groups — to create a profile, log in, and then create your fund or create your pitch for funds, depending on the type of user someone is. The system then matches a funder with projects that meet their criteria and then allows them to short-list and ultimately select their chosen recipient.
It was important for us to have a clean, simple, slick platform with progressive data gathering that didn’t overwhelm users from day one. One of the key features for community groups is that they can create a video pitch rather than fill out a lengthy form. We don’t have the video capability natively in the platform right now, but users can embed a link from YouTube and the video will be displayed on the site. There’s also a countdown feature for funds that are due to launch, expire, or complete.
At the moment, it’s just a web product. 10Clouds worked in React.js for the frontend and Python for the frontend. The site is hosted on MySQL and AWS. There are many more features we want to include in the future, but 10Clouds has delivered a good MVP.
What is the team composition?
There have been a maximum of 10–11 people on the project, including a UX designer, two frontend developers, two backend developers, a QA resource, a DevOps engineer, a couple of technical leads, and a project manager.
How did you come to work with 10Clouds?
They were a recommendation from my network. We spoke to 2–3 different companies in the same region, and 10Clouds impressed us with their investment and responsiveness in the sales process.
Additionally, they stood out with their description of their management style, which has proven to be true throughout the project. 10Clouds understands that the market is hot for talented people in Poland and that this represents a challenge for them, but they go to significant lengths to develop and maintain their staff.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around £200,000 (approximately $282,000 USD) so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since January 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
All in all, we don’t have a defined set of metrics, but the site is always up. 10Clouds delivered functional software within the timeframe and budget that we needed. The real test will come as the number of users goes up and the load increases.
We just launched the platform and received our first users. We’re gathering feedback from users as well — some comments are feature requests and others are bugs, but no more than we expected.
I wouldn’t say that our use case is dramatically challenging, and therefore hasn’t given 10Clouds' team an opportunity to show their extraordinary technical abilities, but they’ve done very well with what we’ve asked them to do.
How did 10Clouds perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very clear and transparent. We have weekly reviews so we know where we are — this allows me to provide absolute clarity to our stakeholders on our spending and forecasted spending. 10Clouds always come in exactly where we expect them to.
We communicate over Jira and Confluence and have our weekly call over Google meet. There are also various phone calls and emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’ve been impressively transparent about cost. When we presented them with a cost squeeze halfway through, 10Clouds very quickly shuffled the team and scaled back on expenditures for a couple of months while we found more investment. When that came through, they scaled the team back up.
We’re a small, lean organization; we don’t have a bottomless pit of money, so 10Clouds responsiveness and flexibility have been exactly what we’re looking for.
Additionally, their engagement at the senior level has also been very helpful. They blend technical expertise with account management and flexibility.
Are there any areas they could improve?
10Clouds could bring even more technical expertise to solve complex problems quicker perhaps, but we haven’t given them much of a chance to do so.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of technology for a venture capital firm that launches startups.
What challenge were you trying to address with 10Clouds?
We needed staff augmentation to help develop a SaaS platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
10Clouds’ developers worked with our development team. We provided full mockups, and they then developed features inside the platform, using the Django and React full stack framework.
The platform helps organizations managing projects and contractors. They provided front and backend development resources right after the launch of the platform. Currently, they’re responsible for DevOps infrastructure support, among other things.
What is the team composition?
We work with two senior developers, a part-time QA, and one DevOps.
How did you come to work with 10Clouds?
I had worked with them in the past, and it was a good experience. I reached out to them about this project, and we decided to work together.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together around November 2020, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re still in startup mode, so I don’t have particular statistics or metrics to share. They integrate well with our team. Their developers’ thought process is outstanding, and they’re effective in implementing the code. Additionally, they provide feedback to our design process — things are moving along at a nice pace.
How did 10Clouds perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Clubhouse for project management and Slack for daily communication. Their performance has been flawless so far.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re aligned with the culture of our company. The developers take pride in their work and are responsive in fixing defects. They also have strong technical skills.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Communication is something we always strive to improve; that has been our main feedback to them. It’s a two-way street, and we’ve seen progress during the project.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I strongly recommend them to someone looking for long-term staff augmentation — they’re great partners.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of product for Semble. We’re a nonprofit community platform for grassroots community projects, and we help find support from local businesses and volunteers.
What challenge were you trying to address with 10Clouds?
We needed help to develop our platform’s MVP.
What was the scope of their involvement?
10Clouds built and tested a prototype platform for us. We provided them with a clear list of features that we wanted to see in the MVP, and they created a web-based application that automates some elements of the funding service process. It’s a digital marketplace that allows funders to connect with and fund local projects looking for support. We’ve continued to work with them.
What is the team composition?
We work with a team of approximately 10 people, including a project manager, back and frontend developers, DevOps people, two tech leads, and a QA.
How did you come to work with 10Clouds?
A colleague recommended 10Clouds because they had good reviews online. They marketed themselves well and put a lot of effort into their ratings and customer feedback on various tech review sites. We had several conversations with them regarding initial estimates and their scope, and we decided to work with them.
How much have you invested with them?
The MVP building cost approximately $120,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together around January 2021, and the first MVP scope of work was completed in May 2021. Our relationship with 10Clouds is still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The MVP was launched a couple of weeks ago. We’ve had positive feedback and testimonials from the first users, saying that it is easy to navigate and has a good look and feel — they’re willing to recommend it. The old way of delivering our funding service was manual, and it had high friction. The process involved a lot of time, which translated into more cost for our clients. This platform reduces that processing time with automation.
How did 10Clouds perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is one of 10Clouds’ standout qualities. I was nervous about working remotely with a team that wasn’t a native English speaker. However, communication has been extremely strong and clear. They’ve provided full transparency on cost, allowing us to monitor and adjust different variables on our end on a weekly basis. We have a good working relationship with their project manager as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
10Clouds is dedicated to its customers. They’ve made it clear that they’ll do whatever it takes to ensure we’re satisfied with the overall results.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Due to an external shortage of developers and designers, we’ve had minor delays in finding the right talent for UI/UX roles. However, 10Clouds has managed it well, without there being any actual shortages or blockages.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be as clear as possible on what you want to do, be transparent, and have people established on your side to help the project carry on as smoothly as possible. 10Clouds can help you build out the scope if you need it.
10Clouds took the time to understand the client's vision for the project, allowing them to deliver a prototype that matched. Flexible and collaborative, the team was highly receptive to feedback and was accommodating of requests. They were friendly, responsive, and enthusiastic throughout.
