For what projects/services did your company hire Custom Web Hub?
I needed a company website that blew away my competition.
How did you select Custom Web Hub?
They approached us and seemed to know what they were doing.
Describe the project in detail.
It's been six months and still don't have a site to show clients, all corrections from errors, too many emails and phone calls to fix. Poor communication, email attachments with company content ignored. The project manager always in meetings. Developments made on the dev site are horrible, rudimentary, and huge delays.
Extremely unprofessional staff. Nobody answers the phone calls, will put you on hold and hang up. Messages ignored. Huge delays between developments. Had to chase down for access to the backend. No accountability. No refunds. Spelling and grammar mistakes (they can't spell Let's Talk). Work says completed but never is.
Links on site do not work. Information given is incorrectly inputted (they had my email wrong four times and we've been emailing back and forth for months). Deadlines are never given and when chased down are never met. Carless edits of themes most text and info just left in there on live site.
They will chase you down for money before the project is complete (gave 50% upfront). They demanded I pay them the other 50% once the site was live or they threatened to take everything down. Live website full of mistakes. Overpriced! No original thought or artistic value on the design team. Arrows and links that lead to nowhere.
No way to reach upper management nor when you email them do they care. The company doesn't care about bad reviews. Excuses upon excuses. Sam W. only listed management, emailed with no response. This company makes you feel backed into a corner and trapped!
What was the team composition?
The receptionist puts you on hold and hangs up on you. The project manager who never properly checks his email or looks at email attachments, the Development team that does horrible designs and carelessly inputs info, Supervisor gives deadline dates that are never met, Upper management seems to be non-existent or doesn't respond to emails.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The site is live? This was painstakingly done with many mistakes still.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I send all appropriate info that gets ignored and not done. I have to chase them down for any info or access to the backend. I have to chase deadlines and it still never gets done. Too many phone calls Too many emails.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Lack of effort.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They have to improve in every area from communication between departments to customer communications I would never recommend this company to anyone.
The client's website was launched but full of errors. Custom Web Hub failed to communicate well and didn't use the content and attachments from the company. The errors included incorrect information and no-follow links. The development was also delayed.
