Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the owner of a freelance editing business catering to indie authors and publishers.
For what projects/services did your company hire Betta Creates, and what were your goals?
I hired Betta for branding design, including logos, web/social assets, and an email signature.
How did you select Betta Creates?
A colleague referred her, and I was really drawn to her style.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
Betta worked closely with me through every step. She answered any questions I had, even when I felt maybe they were a bit off-the-wall from me! She was communicative in her delivery timeframes and always sent a happy message along with the deliverables.
Her thoroughness in the questionnaire meant everything was streamlined once the mood board was established.
How many people from the Betta Creates team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Just Betta, the owner!
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I have a whole slew of deliverables that I will now use on social media, my own website, and any of my contracts or other materials that need branding.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We communicated exclusively through email and would send along images for reference. She would share an estimate of when she'd have something completed, and she always hit the mark!
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I loved that Betta really took the time to get to know what I was looking for design-wise before really diving in. It was a huge help in avoiding endless revisions or back-and-forths with me not begin able to articulate as clearly as a professional designer.
She was always a delight to work with, and I loved that she allowed a peek into her life (sharing tidbits about her weekend, etc). It makes me feel like I amworking with a partner rather than just a random designer.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing from me! I had a great experience!

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the owner and creator behind Violet Vixen Boutique which sells silver gemstone jewelry.
For what projects/services did your company hire Betta Creates, and what were your goals?
I recently changed my name and needed a branding package to go along with that. My goals were to have a new logo, new business cards, and small logos I could use for silver stamps/makers marks.
How did you select this vendor?
I searched for local logo design companies near me. What stood out was Betta's B2B mention. After initial contact, I felt she would be a great option for me.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
I started by filling out a questionnaire about me and my business. We started with a mood board which included 3 rounds of revisions. From this we established my main logo, secondary logo, favicon, and a silver makers mark stamp design. This was sent to me in a file once it was completed. Next we worked on business cards. Again I was given initial designs and 3 rounds of revisions. I ended up choosing 2 designs and again was given these designs via email in a file folder.
Next was social media templates. I was given a ton of designs that are formatted for Instagram, Facebook, Etsy, Twitter, etc. i love that i have templates now for sale announcements, story posts, etc. That was a link to Dropbox because the file was so huge. I logged on and downloaded everything from there. I decided to add on a "thank you" card design that I can include with orders along with my business cards. I was given a file for those as well and super happy I did that.
Everything is cohesive and will look fabulous together! In the end, I was sent a Brand Identity guide which is a document that shows my primary logo, secondary logo, alternate (silver stamp) logo, favicon, font used and my color pallet.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked only with Rebecca, owner and CEO of Betta Creates.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I have not rolled out the changes made yet. It's been so difficult to wait because I'm so excited to share this beautiful work. I know this will help my business in being successful. I'm a firm believer that if you put work in, or invest in your business, it will come back to you.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Rebecca communicated with me daily. Whether it was to send a revision or to check in to see if I had made a decision yet. While I tried to keep everything in the specific email chain, I also felt I could email her any time with a question and she was very responsive, I never had to wait to hear back. For instance I had a question about my font so I created a new email, outside our work, and she responded right away.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The most impressive sounds so simple but it's something that many miss. Rebecca listened to me, she really absorbed my questionnaire and understood me from the get go. I didn't ever have that awkward moment where I had to say "this really isn't what I'm going for". She got it from the start and that is not always easy. I was very impressed with how in tune she was with what I wanted. And she knew things I would love that I didn't even realize I wanted!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I can't think of a single thing I wish were different. I am 100% happy with the outcome and so incredibly excited to roll down all the changes for my company. The entire process was fun, and I never felt rushed to make a decision.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder and CEO of RosePR, a boutique public relations, marketing and communications firm. I started the company about 2.5 years ago.
For what projects/services did your company hire Betta Creates, and what were your goals?
I created my own logo in PPT when I first started the company. It was pretty rough, and I used all gray tones. I like neutrals, and was having a really hard time committing to a color. As time went on, I realized I really needed to invest in getting my own branding right - after all, it's hard to consult other companies on their marketing and communications when you aren't living up to your own best practices. My goals were to get a new logo, with established logo, fonts, colors, etc. to bring more consistency to my external presence.
How did you select this vendor?
I found Betta on Upwork, and I truly feel like I hit the lottery. It can be so hard to choose someone out of huge influx of responses you get to your proposal. However, I thought Betta was very thoughtful in her response and I was really impressed with her work on her website. I asked her a couple of follow up questions explaining some of the things I've been grappling with, and was really impressed with how she understood my challenges and had a path forward.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
I truly fell in love with Betta's process. The questionnaire at the beginning really forces you to be thoughtful about the approach and ensures everyone is on the same page. The mood board (with examples of logos, color palettes and fonts) was so helpful so I understood what I liked and didn't like - it gave me something really tangible to respond to and triggered preferences I didn't know I had. Next she gave some draft concepts to react to.
This was actually where I learned quite a bit about the process - there is a big difference between what you like aesthetically from a personal perspective and what makes sense for your company and target audience. Betta was so patient as she helped me navigate this. Ultimately, we landed in a place that I really love personally, but also works for my business and more conservative B2B clients. In addition to the logo, font and color files, I also received social media templates, a secondary logo, favicon and business card template.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I just worked with Betta, founder and CEO,
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I have gotten a lot of positive feedback on my new logo and look and feel of my brand.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We communicated primarily via email, which worked perfectly for me. As mentioned, she has a very prescriptive process which I love. It really ensures you are on the same page. In terms of timeliness, I could not be happier we completed this project in just under a month.
In fact, Betta was responding to my emails and finalizing my project forward within days (maybe even a day?!) of having a baby. I had no idea she was pregnant and was horrified that I was emailing her when she just had a baby - I would have gladly put the project on hold so she could rest and recover. She didn't even tell me she had a baby until after our work was complete. I was absolutely blown away by her commitment and timeliness
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
For me, it's the process and the commitment of Betta. I actually found myself really missing this process when it was over! It never felt like work and actually felt like an escape from my day to day.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Betta Creates is fantastic - I wouldn't have done anything differently.

I am a wedding photographer who specializes in Denver city weddings and LGBT weddings. As the owner, I run all parts of the business as well as photographing and editing the weddings.
For what projects/services did your company hire Betta Creates, and what were your goals?
I originally hired Betta Creates to create a new logo that better fit my brand identity, but ended up using her for other design projects like creating the background design of my website and my email signature.
How did you select this vendor?
I found Betta Creates on Instagram and liked the work that I saw as well as the reviews by others.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
After my initial inquiry, she had me fill out more information to let her know what I was looking for in a logo. It was a detailed document to help her get a better feel for what colors, fonts, and designs I liked. From there, we had a few meetings to refine my idea, and then she went to work.
She sent me check-ins as she was working and I was able to make a certain amount of edits. We continued narrowing it down until I picked my final design and then Betta Creates sent over a zip file of the logo in color and in black and white, as well as a design card showing the colors and fonts used.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I only worked with Rebecca who is the Owner and Head Designer at Betta Creates.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I have received many compliments from clients and friends that my logo matches my site much better now, and everything seems very cohesive.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Throughout the process, we chatted on the phone or emailed depending on what was necessary. She gave me a timeline when we first started and would send me check ins.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Her eye for design and How she was able to help use the ideas in my head to come up with something tangible was impressive. She is great at combining her skill plus your thoughts to come up with a design.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I was impressed with all parts of working with Betta Creates and do not see areas for improvement.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Founder of a new social media platform with an app, an online forum, and a hardware product on the horizon.
For what projects/services did your company hire Betta Creates, and what were your goals?
We hired Betta Creates to help with the most fundamental step in a business, it's logo. Based on the excellent work, Betta Creates then helped with subsequent product logos, web illustrations, and web site design.
How did you select this vendor?
Based on our own criteria we used clutch.io to help narrow down designers, and then after interviewing three candidate firms, selected Betta Creates.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
As an initial project, we set out to create a company logo. We completed an online questionnaire which helped Betta Creates generate a mood board. After a couple of iterations, we got a fantastic result! We then continued on to get two additional logos for our product offerings - both excellent. Finally we engaged Betta Creates for a web design, which also included from-scratch illustrations with several variations. All told, Betta Creates delivered three complete logo packages (with all image variations and formats), a cornerstone illustration for the website, accompanying illustrations for use through out the site, and the site itself.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked directly with the company founder, Rebecca.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are still pre-launch because of outside factors. However, we simply cannot wait to show the world Betta Creates beautiful work!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had full access to Rebecca and felt like she gave us her full attention. She was clear with her time and cost, and also open and forward about scheduling around other clients. She produced work faster than we could incorporate it, so in every regard she was a delight to work with.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I understand that we found Betta Creates through a clutch.io search, which undoubtedly included vetting, and then after additional effort on our end to select her, but in the end we just feel super lucky. Our use of Rebecca's services has been the calm in the storm of a startup, and we will continue to use their talent going forward.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Any hiccups we experienced were 100% due to mistakes and miss-fires on our side - Rebecca has been so easy to work with. Since getting the initial web design from her, we've split the site into two - using a more advanced hosting platform than Squarespace for one of the two main pages.

What challenge were you trying to address with Betta Creates?

How did you come to work with Betta Creates?
I found Betta Creates on UpWork.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost was $300.

Everything went according to plan — in fact, they finished ahead of time. Rebecca responded right away any time I reached out. Working with Betta Creates was truly an ideal process.

There were two board members from Pique Audio communicating with Betta, which was fully run by Rebecca L.

What did you find most impressive about this company?
