I’m the founder of a wedding planning platform. We provide wedding planning services.
What challenge were you trying to address with Webstack Solutions?
I needed someone to build my platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did the design and development of my web platform. There are planning tools, a budget calculator, lists, and the ability to get in touch with my suppliers. There’s also a directory and other parts involved as well — everything you need to plan a wedding. They used WordPress.
What is the team composition?
My two main contacts were the project manager and the project lead.
How did you come to work with Webstack Solutions?
I found them online. They looked professional, I chatted with them, and they seemed to know what they were doing.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $10,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from May until December 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I had a list of requirements at the beginning and was involved in reviewing the sprints. Their success is measured by my satisfaction with their testing of the website, design of the website, and provided functionality. They were spot on.
How did Webstack Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
We worked in sprints and broke it into a number of team milestones. We worked through a number of issues and communicated through Skype, face-to-face meetings, phone calls, email, and WhatsApp. They were very informative along the way. They did okay with timelines, and we got there in the end.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their people are good. I really enjoy working with them. They’re upfront and informative. I can have a conversation with them about anything, which makes it easy to solve problems. We have good relationships with them. The people are top-notch.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We learned a lot of lessons through the project. They could give some more regular updates and the planning stage could be changed a little bit. It wasn’t bad, and there were opportunities for growth.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Keep in contact with your project manager. Take their advice on board. Have regular meetings.
